Sky above me and earth below
Beneath my fingers silken scales do slide
Wings outstretched to cup the air
Wind whistling by as we glide
Glistening with opalescent spender
Capturing and holding the colours of the setting sun
A myriad of colours dancing I do see
Reflected and refracted in the scales beneath my hand
Fiery sparks of fierce love glow within her eyes
As a clarion call shatters the stillness of the earth below
Welcoming all who hear to join us
To share the joy of dragon flight
Sky above and earth below
Wings out stretched to cup the air
Wind whipping through my hair, whistling by as we glide
On dragonback I ride
